The spirit and passion of members is the hallmark of the great development enjoyed by the Holdfast Tennis Club since its foundation in 1910, through to the superb achievements over the past decade. The Club has a strong base with 243 registered members boasting 13 senior and 30 junior teams. This makes the Club the largest tennis club in the district, with an optimistic and vital future.

Many Australian champions have been nurtured through the facilities and coaching provided at the grass roots level by this club. The Holdfast Tennis Club defines the term "champions" as not just the people who win tournaments, although they deserve a special recognition - it is also all members who contribute to our way of community life.
