Trams

The tram runs approximately every 15 minutes going into Adelaide city starting from 5:46am and the last one returning to Glenelg at midnight.

Adelaide Free Bus

Once you are in Adelaide there is a free loop bus that you can get on and off as much as you like and it takes you past most of the city's attractions. This bus goes both ways around the city and there is a main stop in Victoria Square, where the tram stops.

Buses Leaving From Glenelg

There is a local community bus that goes around the Glenelg area that runs on Wednesday – Friday from 11:00am-4:00pm and you can get on and off as often as you like, but they do appreciate a gold coin donation to keep this service going.

  • J1 bus goes to Adelaide Shores, Harbour Town and the Adelaide Airport
  • 110 bus goes to Harbour Town and also to Henley Beach
  • 600 bus goes to Marion Shopping Centre and then on to Blackwood Station.
  • 265 bus goes to Somerton Park, Brighton, Brighton Station, Marion Shopping Centre and straight into the Adelaide City, you are also able to go straight to the city on this bus from Glenelg
  • 190, 135 and 167 bus goes to Adelaide City

All buses leave from Moseley Street in Glenelg and run quite frequently, there are a few other stops located round the Glenelg area and timetables will help you to find these.
